I have been locking down my mysql server lately and wanted to know if the Anonymous username was used for anything or if I can remove it, also all connections made to the database server are from localhost so could I remove the second root user that is there by default for connections from the server name?
I had not ever ran across that page, thank you for pointing it out. From reading that I will just pull the Anonymous usernames and just leave the root ones that are there.
