https://itsfoss.com/web-app-manager-linux-mint
Just saw this, and found it fascinating. Is it similar to Firejail? How can someone know if it will be safe?

-Much appreciation,

It basically just opens a browser to the specified url but doesn't show the navigation bar and creates a separate profile for each app.

Check the source to see how "safe" this is https://github.com/linuxmint/webapp-manager

What makes you think that?
I see no indication that it has anything to do with firejail.
