LIDS not giving all options in kernel

I installed the LIDS latest patch for a vanilla kernel 2.6.7. http://www.lids.org, says there is suppose to be a hole bunch of LIDS options in the kernel but I only have
1 Attempt not to flood logs.
2 Allow switching the LFS and States
3 Restrict mode switching to specified terminals

I am missing the most important one that I want to use which is port scan detection.

I followed the guide on the site but... HELP! ;0

Just a guess, but you need to say 'Yes' to CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL to use LIDS.

Assuming to exited the configure process, from the source directory try:
grep LIDS .config
To see if the LIDS variables are in your new config file. To see if the patch worked, try
grep LIDS arch/i386/config.in

Good Luck,
chris
