IRC iptables dcc transfers

Ok here is my problem. I am using mandrake 10.0 com and using x-chat for IRC. I am using guarddog for a firewall along with the iptables. I have configured everything i want to allow ports wise etc. But i cant seem to configure how to allow dcc transfers to and from my computer. I am assuming i have to do this manually and write some text somewhere as guarddog doesnt seem to be much help here. I know dcc transfers use a wide range of ports anywhere from 1035 thru 5000. How can i configure this because if someone dcc sends me something its blocked everytime. I also checked all my preferences in x-chat to allow dcc transfers. I assume its the iptables blocking the tranfers. If someone knows what to do it would be greatly appreciated. Somehwat of a n00b to linux so any explaining, talk to me like i am completley dumb so i can understand. kthanx =)

ip_conntrack_irc & ip_nat_irc are netfilter modules which handle the extra connection dcc needs.

do modprobe ip_nat_irc and both modules will load..
