IPTABLES script

Does any have a good iptables script. Mine isn't up to the task. And I'm unsure of how to write a good one. (It's not as as easy as ipchains) The script should at least block the big problems like source routing and SYN packets. Anything will help thanks.

It would help if you tells us the details of your network setup, then we could help you the script.

Well, you could start looking at /Raz's basic iptables script (3rd reply) and the iptables/netfilter howto at linuxdoc.org.

i thought iptables was daunting at first, but after i learned the basic syntax i found it was alright. once you get the hang of it, it's real easy to write your own custom scripts. :-)
