IM Gateway/Proxy for linux

Hello,

I've been searching for an IM Gateway/Proxy for linux and have not seen a lot yet. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can it be set up transparently? Something for AIM or Multiple Instant Message Clients (msn, yahoo...) Needs to have logging functionality and some access control features would be nice also.

Thanks

have a google for jabber servers... quite nice and gives you access to MSN/Yahoo through easy to install and configure plugins. only thing is the server will handle the Jabber chats only. MSN and Yahoo will connect directly to the MSN/Yahoo servers.

If anyone know how to setup a LAN MSN server I would like to hear about it

Thanks
Chris
