how to crack fedora core 1


i have a linux server, defaut install ,it have ssh,mysql web server, mysql's version is 4.0, apache is 1.38 php is 4.0 , not install any patch, if I only know the mysql 's root password , how can i crack it .....thanks

The mysql root password is the same as your root passwrod, I think

try this:

$ mysql -h localhost -u root -p

This will connect to mysql on your localhost computer (change localhost to your computers name if different) with user root and will prompt you fro the password. Put in your root password. And you should be in mysql as root with all the privileges.

I think not if he used mysqladmin -u root password <just_a_password> , then the root password is <just_a_password> . As far as I know it's MD5 encrypted, so cracking it ...
