Having trouble w/shorewall config

hello,
trying 2 get shorewall up but get this on shorewall start:
/usr/share/shorewall/firewall: line 158 : iptables : command not found

I have minimal setup: no rules ,one zone- net and one interface ppp0 as I have a dialup connection. when i run shorewall check it comes back ok. any ideas why this happening? I have mandrake 9.1 and latest shorewall 2.0.8 i just downloaded and used the one-interface files that are on the sight and edited them accordingly.....

Do you have the iptables package installed? If so is it in your path? And...are u starting it as root? You should be.

yes i did a check as the shorewall site suggests and issued command >which ip and response was /sbin/ip. and env shows /sbin in path....

oops!
just out of curiousity i checked rpm's and didnt have iptables installed! I assumed that the which ip command was doing that. oh well shorewall starts now ok. sorry 4 not rtfm first...
