Yes. Well, not me, but a contractor friend. He was asked to set up a gateway at a hotel/motel that allowed guests to use internet only after they had entered their room information. He used packetfence and modified it a bit to do so. AFAIR it worked fine and that was 6+ months ago.

I would like to know where exactly we will have to place the packetfence in typical setup
