F-prot users

Hello,To all

Well after having a big problem trying to get f-prot
to do updates here is what i did that got it working
for me. this may help some other newbie here

each time i would try to do an update i would get this
error here

"perl module HTTP::Request"

well after 10,000 uninstall/reinstalls
this is the file that did it for me

libwww-perl

i installed the above file from Suse

now here is a link to a prog to use with f-prot

xfprot-1.9.tar.gz

link http://web.tiscali.it/sharp/xfprot/

Note: please have a look at the md5sum

to install just goto where you extracted
the files then

cd xfprot-1.9
./configure
make
sudo make install

once i was done with that i just run a
Command: xfprot click ok

wow works great

Good luck
