email all new filenames

Hi

Is it possible for my server to email me lists of all new files that have been uploaded?

I get a similar one from cpanel in regards to scripts that have mail commands but would like to have any new file.

I had a permission set wrong on a directory and seems someone managed to upload files into it.

many thanks

Which distro do you use. It may already be doing it and e-mailing the results to root, as a part of its fam or aide based configuration. You may need only to have root's mail forwarded to you.
