Dismount from the command line works but truecrypt GUI still thinks volume is mounted

Trying to dismount a truecrypt volume from the command line like this:

truecrypt -d data

It works but the Truecrypt window that is always running is not updated, it still shows the volume as mounted. How can it be updated? Can't exit it because there are other volumes mounted at all times.

You should consider using the VeraCrypt fork instead of TrueCrypt which is no longer been developed.

The VeraCrypt window successfully updates itself when one of the mounted volumes is dismounted through the command line.
