can't open Hotmail

My clients recently complained that they can't open hotmail. I tried and found the same results. WHen I go to hotmail.com, I get the following results.

The page cannot be displayed

We are an ISP using Novell Security Manager as our firewall. Any thoughts about what could be blocking Hotmail only?

First disable those friendly error messages in your browser so you will get to see why the page can not be displayed.

This is the full message that appears:

The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because the page address is incorrect.

Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, check that it is entered correctly.

Open the login.passport.net home page and then look for links to the information you want.

HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed
Internet Information Services

I also connect a machine directly to the net, bypassing our firewall and hotmail loaded. So I know it has something to do with my firewall and not with the browsers. Some of our clients are cybercafes which means that they use various browsers and various OSes.

If I knew how to block Hotmail only in my frewall, that would help. Other than blocking the URL which of course is not the case.

Yahoo, Operamail,Gmail, Lycos Mail, etc, all work fine.

i do recall seeing an issue kinda like this a long time ago with a transparently proxied squid... hotmail wouldn't work when accessed using internet explorer 6.x but it would work with firefox, etc... does it fail for you regardless of browser?? are you transparently proxying HTTP??
