block specific ip addresses

I'm allowing port 22 to pass through my router so I can ssh into my box remotely. Lately, I've noticed an IP address out there who keeps trying random username / password combos on my box. He/she never guesses correctly, but it's a risk. How can I block this IP (or, say, only allow specific IPs) from my linux box? Or is this something I should do from the router?

Best to do it from the router, but please remove the IP address,

I've reported the thread, I'd rather have a moderator check this, if posting an IP address like this is okay. Nothing personal, I just don't want LQ to get in trouble :).
