Post A question about "faillog".

Hello.
In a local network that my Linux box is joined it, I like to find who tried to see my shares or...My Linux not have any share folder but I like to know who want to browse me. I know Linux has "/var/log/faillog" but can it show Windows clients that wanted to browse my IP or it just show attempted logins?

Thank you.

If the port is closed or your system refuses to answer anything to that client: you will not know what the client really wanted to do.
