I helped start TWG, the 1st Company to sell the 1st ATT UNIX port on a non-DEC computer. It was an Interdata 32 bit Mini. Unfortunately , I left before they made their money :-(.
This thread is a great little Internet Email generator. (Laughs)
Every time someone posts to this thread I get an email notification (as expected because I have subscribed to the thread by default).
Given this thread mentions a competition for something free there is high frequency of posting to this thread, and as a consequence everyone who already posted to the thread (ie subscribing to the thread) is receiving an email from LQ every time someone new posts to this thread.
Please consider locking this thread to prevent new posts, if there is no requirement to post to this thread in order to be eligible for the competition in question.
