Google Earth for Linux Has Been Released

Here's the output the shell displays:

Uncompressing Google Earth for GNU/Linux 4.1.7076.4458..........................................................................
You don't seem to be running an X server (no DISPLAY set).
Google Earth and its installer both require X11.
Aborting...

I am sure i am running X11, i configured xorg.conf myself.

Downloaded it and had no problems. Here's how I did it:

Donwload file, then cd to the working directory.
chmod -x Google~
su
sh ./Google~
Follow the prompts when it opens the install window
Run the program and presto, Google Earth on Linux.

i had same problem but then it worked for me, i remembered the gui
