hi, I wanted to try zorin and it is awesome. however when I tried to change some of the icon settings and the compiz settings I got a crash message. The menu no longer works and it just shows a frown face and nothing works to bring it back. I rebooted into ubuntu basic theme so I can have a menu and created another user.. In that account, everything looks normal but the dispay flickers bad.
So the question is... How do i bring everything back to default? I'm updated the system via terminal but that seemed to make it worst. I am now using basic gnome. Please help for I want my zorin desktop back. I'll promise to not change anything in the looks or themes.

by the way, the icons in the menu are also gone! I went back to the ubuntu tweak and set everything back to default, but nothing worked. Is there a restore point for linux, I really don't want to have to reinstall this back again or go to Mint or ubuntu. thank you.
