Yum update error for CentOS 5.10 (Final)

When I install alien or other packages on CentOS 5.10 (Final), the error showed below.

I know CentOS 5 is out of life. If I point to vault.centos.org, could I install alien or other packages on CentOS 5.10 (Final). Because I installed several research softwares, I do not want to migrate to CentOS 6 or 7. Thanks.

Welcome to LQ.

CentOS 5.11 : Please replace all repo files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ with this (64bits example)
Code:
[CentOS 5.11]
name=CentOS-5.11-x86_64
baseurl=http://vault.centos.org/5.11/os/x86_64/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1

[CentOS 5.11-updates]
name=CentOS-5.11-updates-x86_64
baseurl=http://vault.centos.org/5.11/updates/x86_64/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
... You may have to set gpgcheck to 0, if / when the keys are none valid.
* Your /etc/yum.conf is OK.

These packages are available http://vault.centos.org/5.11/os/x86_64/CentOS/
Updates http://vault.centos.org/5.11/updates/x86_64/RPMS/

I don't see any package 'alien'. (A manual install can be done in seconds.)

P.S. : If you want the 'extras' this is the "baseurl" :
http://vault.centos.org/5.11/extras/x86_64/
