XRDP Login Issue, logs into XTERM instead of KDE PLASMA 5
Hey all.
I'm rather new with Arch, but have used Debian and Ubuntu for quite a while. I've got an arch installation up and running, and up to date (using Plasma 5). I installed xrdp so I can access it when I'm out of the local network. However, I run into a few problems with it. I've searched high and low on google, and gone through the arch xrdp documentation.
My issue is as follows. When I try and log into Arch using the Windows RDP application (on Windows 10), it opens up but then given me an "xrdp_mm_process_login_response login failed" error. For some reason I decided to try and log in using the Microsoft RDP app on my iPad, which did give me access, but only because it was able to provide my username and password prior to the app trying to connect. So that seems to why I cant do it from windows 10 - the login info needs to be passed when the connection is requested. However, when I do log in on the ipad, it brings up the xtem desktop environment instead of the Plasma 5 environment. How can I change this?
I should also mention I tried checking the logs located in /var/log/xrdp-sesman.log and /var/log/xrdp.log, but they seem to be empty
