xine on slackware

Hello,

I have just switched over to slackware (from andrake), and I love it! The only thing is that I was able to easily set up xine (with full encrypted DVD support) on mandrake - but it's giving me problems with slackware.

I've tried doing things several different ways, but I think maybe it's a path problem. Even before I get to setting up the css stuff, it says it can't find plugins. It usually refers to an MRL thing too.

Any thoughts?

You probably want xine to work but may I suggest mplayer..

I have both xine and mplayer on my Slack machines and mplayer just totally out performs xine in every single way, plus its much easier to setup and configure.

Just a thought..
