The MS Office Suite *CAN* work under Wine, but the better question is "Why?" Libreoffice runs natively on Linux, and can read/write Office documents just fine.
any help (command line) would be highly appreciated, sending me back to other websites which I already visited is a kind of nonesense here! thank you for your time.

...and since you didn't bother telling anyone what websites you already visited, or what you have already tried, HOW WOULD WE KNOW??? All you did was post an error message, which has MANY different solutions listed in both Google and on the Wine forums....have you tried them ALL? And you also don't bother telling us the RESULTS of what you tried, messages, etc. If you don't provide details, don't expect people to be able to guess as to what you've done. And telling people who volunteer their time, tried to help you, and looked things up for you that they posted 'nonsense' is VERY rude. Want a better answer? Then ask a better question and provide details.
And AGAIN, WHY are you using an old version of MS Office under Wine, when you can use Libreoffice for free, natively under Linux???
Hi. I just searched PlayOnLinux (a front for WINE click thumbnail) for ya, although I also prefer (as in freedom) free alternatives. If they twist my arm enough I use VirtualBox (maybe once a year.) Best wishes and have fun.

I posted in those links Mr TBOne and I've got no answer yet, that's why I came to this forum wondering if I could get any answer!
As per the word "nonesense" I appologize but It was not my intention tu "hurt" anyone.
for the question of using LibreOffice under Ubuntu12.04LTS : I am using it, but it has some errors regarding the format of cells (each time when I save my file which an .xlsx file and I open it I find that the format has changed and I nead to keep this format because I am sending it to people at work) so that's why I wanted to use MsOffice under Ubuntu.
P.S: I am a new migrating user from Microsoft to Linux (I have basics on Unix and It was a long time I didn't work with it) so all my work was saved in MSOffice formats + I interact with people in work who have MsOffice under windows system => so you might understand now why I want to use msOffice under Ubuntu (2 reasons : I came to a stage of hating Windows system and Its crashes all the time, and I am very passionate to work with Linux systems instead)
And we have NO IDEA what other forums you post in, under what names, or what advice you received. We only know what you POST HERE...and you didn't 'hurt' anyone...you were plain rude.

MSOffice is a poor fit on Linux. I agree with jamison20000e about looking for the Libreoffice how-to's and/or plugins, since I haven't ever had a problem with going back and forth between the two. I share documents and spreadsheets on a VERY regular basis with Office users, and haven't ever had any problems with formatting between the two.
But again...you are using office 2010..which is still OLD. If your co-workers are using it too, and you've got the latest Libreoffice, that's probably where your problems are coming from. Instead of XLSX, have you tried just xls? Or better, why don't you get your co-workers to ALSO use Libreoffice, since it's totally free, and runs on Windows too? Since they're using old software now, they could update for free.
this is an excel spread sheet
? right ?
and you are using Microsoft Visual Basic macros and Microsoft ONLY formatting in the cells
that might never work well in wine
install XP sp3 or vista
and use MS office 2010 on that
but most of the formatting issues can be solved by installing the MICROSOFT Truetype fonts on Ubuntu
( if not already installed ) http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/
Although if you have the software it can be fun to pwn microcoughed so if WINE is still a must (which it's not) I've also had much progress using Q4WINE and directing it to the WINE versions PlayOnLinux installs in (home\~) ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine ... or as John VV said in VirtualBox.

TBOne :either you know exactly how to solve this kind of problems oryou don't! there is no middle option for that and there is no shame of not knowing how to fix something: I am a beginner in Linux, and for now I am trying to solve an issue which I described before, how to add plugins and which plugins are we talking about? this is another issue! I am used to Ms Office in which I found lot of advantages compared to LibreOffice, maybe this opinion will change in the future, but now this is what I need : the solution to my error message! do you know how to fix it? unless, the solution to ask everyone in my office so they migrate to libreOffice is not practical and very difficult to implement!
"And we have NO IDEA what other forums you post in, under what names, or what advice you received. We only know what you POST HERE..." : this is not your problem, I answered you by giving you the links to some forums I posted my problem in without getting an answer and you can check by yourself, that's why I looked for another forum which is this one by the way.
this is another issue! I am used to Ms Office in which I found lot of advantages compared to LibreOffice
then use Microsoft's Office 2010 on XP or vista !
the thing is WE DO KNOW how to solve it
use MS office on a Microsoft OS

that error looks like you need to use the "wine" version of "Regedit.exe" on the Wine version of the Microsoft System Registry
you are familiar with using "regedit.exe" on windows ? right ?
also the "long term support" version of ubuntu 12 has a VERY OLD!!! version of wine
you might NEED to use the MOST current version of wine
but
i would use MS office 2010 on windows xp sp3 or Vista or win 7
ALSO if you NEED to use wine
ms office takes up about 40 GIG!!!!!!! of drive space
and wine uses your HOME folder
do you have more than 40 gig of free space in your HOME folder

Yes, I do know how...and handed you two links that told you how to fix it. Not sure what else you need.

Sorry, not going to go track down other forum posts to try to help you; either you can post what you've done/tried here, or you can follow up elsewhere.
