wine rpm's


if anyone knows where some whine rpm's are please tell me ive tried the source and i got tons of errors

thanks hey if i just tell linux to open all .exe files with wine will that work
and if not then how do i get it to work and why have i only been able to open small simple files

You *should* be able to associate .exe's with the wine command. (depends on your X). As for you only being able to get small simple programs to run, I'm don't quite follow. Do you mean small programs like Minesweeper and Notepad? I myself have gotten a ton of programs to run, the latest being Medal of Honor: Spearhead.

all your going to have to do once you get wine configured is make a new thread with the problem that you may run into when trying to run something...some programs require a little more then others, and i'll give you an example of a program that takes a little more than just typing wine in front of the executable...
i am sure you heard of the picture editing program called photoshop and here is a link:

that shows a couple of addition steps that you must take to run this program...so just to wrap this up, you see that not all programs/games are as easy as typing "wine program.exe"...
