wider range of context-sensitive (f1)help?

my first time meeting linux was back track, when bt4 was relised. i m windows user but some windows and hardwear trouble made me to try solving them through linux. of course it was a bad pick for n00b especialy for myself couse i got that "unpopular & inadvisable" intuitive computer aproach.
from that bt4 experince i remember how i was pleased with bt4˙s interactive context-sensitive (f1)help, offering and sugesting me "scripting phrases" that may "cover" my intention. so here is my question: is it possible to adjust range base and "manner" of context-sensitive (f1)help, for example in mint18.3 ?

yes, if you contribute to mint development.
maybe they even are looking for people to write better help files.

although, this is usually desktop environment specific, not distro specific.
so, what DE are you using?
or maybe another DE would provide better F1 context help?
