What, you mean even typing on the keyboard or moving the mouse gets no response?

when i try to use exes does not run
.exe files are WINDOWS programs. They will not generally run on Linux.

and when i download Linux programs they do the same
Downloaded from where? I would say the most important thing for a beginner coming to Linux is to understand the concepts of repositories and package managers. That is how you should get the vast majority of software you run on Linux.

so i asked a friend and he said you have to link all the dll's though a command console, now im no genius but that sounds freaking hard
He said wrong.
