Why does it say "Command not found" when I use Kali Linux 1.0.7-i386?

How to fix this? for e.g. aircrack-ng when I type in one of the letter option commands and then it says bash: command not found. Do I need to install some missing dependencies or something else? If so where do I get them from what website?

You should read this https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ad-4175614092/ and this https://docs.kali.org/introduction/s...use-kali-linux before going any further.

The out of the box answer is,
1. it is not installed.
2. one needs to use root privileges to run the command.
3. anything more than that requires further investigation.
