Which Repositories Should I install

Hello all,

I just finished installing FC8 on my dell E1405. After fixing a couple things and installing things. I ran the update and all the patches were installed. Right when I thought I was done, I remember that I have the default repositories that came with FC8.

Update FC8
Fedora FC8

My question is what other repo should I install? I know that most people use Freshrpms, and atrpms. Which one do you think is good to install?

The laptop will be used for wifi testing and network security testing.

Any good feed back would be great.

I think these days most Fedora users use Livna. Beware which repos you setup because some don't play along nicely. I usually just stick with Livna and have had very few problems with it.

I will second Livna.

Be EXTREMELY careful if you try atrpms, it has a long history of replacing core components with versions that are not compatible with any repo (including Fedora proper).

Thank you very much for the reply... I did install Livna rather then anything else.

Thanks once again.

Drivel is compatible with Livna too. It has a heavy focus on emulation apps.
