which programming language should i learned?


i want to write my own scripts and also want to make my own drivers.....which programming language should i learn?

If you want to do scripting, then bash and perl are good option. But if you are talking about writing device drivers then you need to know C in depth. Also for writing device drivers, knowledge of the device hardware is necessary.
