Where to download source code for fork() ?

I looked at the man pages for fork() but still cannot find it. Do I need to download the source code for the complete kernel ? I have the same question for execve I'd like to view the source. I'm using Ubuntu 20.04.1 with the following kernel Linux 5.4.0-42-generic

Thanks

I believe that fork is a system call implemented by the kernel; if I am correct, you might check the kernel.org documentation.

If you mean the system call, it's at https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux...ork.c?h=v5.8.2 (adapt the URL for other kernel versions).
