Question Where can I get the linux kernel code to read?


Almost all the distros have the same linux kernel code I guess?Where can I find the kernel code to read for most of the distros?Can someone point me to the links.

No.....(but certainly similar)

The source code is typically available from the distro repositories (using the package manager).
for the generic kernels, everything is here:
http://kernel.org/

Also one more thing.If I want some code to be added to the kernel.Is the process formally documented somehwere?
