Where can I get Redhat Linux


Can any body please advice me where can I get the latest version of Redhat Linux. I have searched through the redhat site but coudnt find one. It says that the Linux is freeware software but they are charging, I am not getting this.

RedHat is a commercial distribution, which means you are expect to pay for it, yes. I'm afraid you are confused about the word "free". Free Linux means that the source code is freely available, not necessarily that the operating system doesn't cost anything. That being said, most distributions really are available for $0 - but not RedHat. You can still get Fedora7, which is a preview of the next RedHat release, or CentOS, which is a clone of the current one. Pice of both: $0 and they are just as good but you obviously don't get any official support.
