Where can I find support for Assus "Eee PC 2G Surf" software?

I just got a new Assus Eee PC 2G Surf and I couldn't find too much useful information either on the help file or on assus website... Where is a forum or a website where I can find more information? I don't even know what kind of Linux is installed and how could I install for example gnu chess on it? or the chinese Go? etc.

It is a modified Ubuntu...(that can be downloaded from linuxtracker) apparently.

synaptic is your package manager... or else use apt-get
Select appropriate repositories first
