vger is a reference to V'Ger, a mysterious spaceship in the first Star Trek movie that turns out to be Voyager 6.

I assume lore references Data's brother from Star Trek Next Generation.

So I'm assuming you've visited each of those pages?

Vger says what it's about right on the page.
Lore is also a page, but it has a clear link at the bottom indicating more information about it.

What are your questions based on those two descriptive sections from those web pages?

I think the op is asking about where the names come from and not the actual functions of the those sites.

When I saw those URLs my first guess was also that those might be Star Trek references. Is there any official confirmation from the site owners?
