what is my IP address?

this is an easy question and once upon a time I would have been able to answer it... what command will give me the IP address I get from dhcpcd? I though netstat would do it. maybe I'm reading the man page wrong or just up too late or just dumb... thank you for any help and please feel free to flame.

Try ifconfig ?

I am not on Linux right now, but I think that might work.
