trying to upgrade a prog using synaptic. i select the prog hit upgrade it takes a second then comes back with nothing selected. does anyone know why this would happen?
but it shows that i have kde 3.1.4 and 3.1.94 is availale and the upgrade option is available when i press it, it takes a second then comes back with nothing selected fo install
Have you tried closing Synaptic, going to a command line, su-ing to root, typing apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade synaptic? (I don't have Linux atm, so I am guessing at the commands)
