[SOLVED] Webcam driver?

Hi,

The Skype audio test claims I have configured Skype correctly. But my new Creative Live!Cam Socialize (Which includes a mic) needs some drivers as only those for MS Windows are provided. Creative spec requires a Linux kernal 2.6 or later which I think I have.

Can anyone advise please me on my next move?

You may find the Ubuntu Community webcam documentation helpful. Many webcam/microphone combinations will work without any additional drivers. If you still have questions after reading through the documentation, post back and we'll try to help.
