Warning: No xauth data..., although I'm using `ssh -Y`

I'm connecting from Cygwin ssh to RHEL 6.5 and using Cygwin XWin Server.

'ForwardX11Trusted yes' in ~/.ssh/config or `ssh -Y` worked without warnings until today. Now the config option is silently ignored and with the command line option there is this warning.

Try running the ssh -v -Y to see debug information. This will give more information as to what is going on.

I think it's Cigwin. No warning from Ubuntu.

I see no useful info in log:

This link covered it.
http://x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/cygwin-...-no-xauth-data

6.4. What does "Warning: no xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding" mean?

Unless you started the server with the -auth option (typically by using startx) this warning is expected and can safely be ignored.

You can also try installing xauth and running

xauth add :0 . `mcookie`

then verify with

xauth list

maybe the error results from not finding the magic cookie.

Thank you for both advises. After `xauth add` there's a new cookie on :0 and the warning is gone, even without `-auth` option.
