vsftpd log file

i'm using xinetd to control vsftpd,
i have these line in /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf
# You may override where the log file goes if you like. The default is shown
# below.
# If you want, you can have your log file in standard ftpd xferlog format

i want to see all the logs of the user that have connected to my server,aswell as any failed attempt to connect
please guide me on how to set it up.
