I have a fedora 4 installed with vsftp. I configure it out. Everythings is oke except for one thing that I can not solved.

Most likely this is a directory permissions issue. You made sure that the user you ftp'd in as can write in their home directory? Have you used the 'search' feature on this forum? Many people have posted a thread similar to this problem.

May I point out that trying to ftp as root is quite possibly one of the least secure things you can do. FTP usernames and passwords are sent in clear text, meaning anyone with evil intentions towards your box could walk away with complete access. You don't want to do this. In fact it would probably be a good idea to read through the vsftpd man page and pay attention to how to set up a userlist to either allow or deny specific users.
