Vmware Workstation and Backtrack 2.0 final Installation Problem

Okay I'm going to break it down simple here because I really need an answer here. I am frustrated and have looked over dozens of sites to try to figure this out. Hopefully someone can help. Anyways I downloaded the Backtrack 2.0 Final. Next I need to install this into VMware Workstation so I can use Backtrack. I opened a new workstation and browsed the backtrack ISO image into the new workstation and set everything up. This is where I'm confused because I know I'm not finished installing everything. I go as follows:

root, toor, startx. Then I go to KDE and go to the backtrack 2 installer. What do I do from there because it doesn't seem to be installing correctly. I know there are more steps but I'm clueless. Might I remind you that I am brand new to Linux and Vmware and any kind of DOS related, or command Prompt. Can somebody please enlighten me or direct me to an answer?

Backtracks website says it's a live CD which means you wouldn't need VMworkstation. You could just boot from the CD directly to check it out.

Never used it but it does mention vmware in docs area and the unoffical web site revealed some info there as well.
