First thing I will suggest is to plug it in, open a console window (as root, or become root) and type "lsusb" which should return to you a two part string like "0c64:0ca5" or similar.
Next, copy that chunk of data, and into Google Search, enter "Linux 0c56:0c54" and see where that takes you. Hopefully it will lead you almost directly to a page about how to make that camera work with Linux, if at all possible.
Have you searched Google? Have you searched LQ? Checked the HCL? (see to the right-->)
Please give the output from the command I gave you meanwhile, and also add to your profile the Linux you are using, tell us what sort of computer it is (laptop/desktop make & model) and explain to us what exactly you have tried so far, while attempting to get the camera working, and what was the results of what you tried.
