V4l2 support for monochrom camera sensors

Hi all,

We have a camera which runs on linux and it has monochrome CMOS sensor. We are planning to develop a driver which is compactable for v4l2. But in the v4L2frame works i didn't see any monochrom supported IOCTLs.

Please let me know is v4l2 framework will support monochrome camera sensors

Thanks,
P.Ashok

Your question makes absolutely zero sense. If YOU are planning on writing the driver, it obviously doesn't matter if it's supported or not...since YOU ARE WRITING THE SUPPORT. Also, you say nothing about what version/distro of Linux, or ANYTHING about the camera...we can't guess as to supported devices.
