Unhappy Using CVSCOMPILE to get alsa-cvs running on SuSE-Linux 9.0

Hi, I am trying for hours to get alsa working. I downloaded the CVS Version since the other one supposenly no SPDIF out put suports.

I got stuck right at the biginning. When I try to use the command:

itwasntme:/usr/src/alsa # ./cvscompile
bash: ./cvscompile: File or Folder not found
itwasntme:/usr/src/alsa #

I alway get this error. CVS is installed. Also CVSPS & CVSUP......

I really don't have a clue what to do. I am using Linux for about 2 weeks now.
So it would be awesome if anyone could help. Thanx anyways. Jan!!!!
