User groups and accounts documentation


Can someone direct me to a good source to explain configuration of user accounts and groups please. Specifically what criteria makes a group and how to configure them.

So simple but I can't find this info.

The book (available online) Linux: rute users tutorial and exposition by paul sheer has a good section on this. Read it here:
