User and Group Interactions Tool


Hi Friends,

Can anyone tel me the best tool for User and group Management and auditing Tool for linux. I tried psacct.
Better any GUI tool for managing Linux Users Interactions. Please advise me.

No, we can't tell you what is 'best', because that varies from person to person. What is wrong with psacct?

And saying "gui tool" is broad...there are tools for doing it for most desktop environments, but you don't say what version/distro of Linux you're using, with what desktop, or if you're including web-based tools in that. Further, 'audit' how? If you're authenticating with Active Directory, it's different than auditing LDAP, which is STILl different than local user auditing. And, you don't say anything about how many servers, in what kind of environment.

Since you've got a 'certification', you should easily be able to find tools to fit your needs.
