usb stick

Disk /dev/sda: 65 MB, 65536000 bytes
3 heads, 63 sectors/track, 677 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 189 * 512 = 96768 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 676 63850+ 6 FAT16

This is the entry when i run fdisk, I made a dir /mnt/usbstick
then i edited the fstab "/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick auto user no auto 0 0"
I try and mount it in return i read fs type not supported by the kernal
also if i put in the fs of fat16 it returnes the same.
I now this is not a new thing and i have been reading all day , at the moment i canny figure it out
