Unhappy Urget : Xhost


hi every1 ..

can any1 tell me can any1 sneek into my system even if i have xhost - command already set from the network ...


or like if i need to access a computer where xhost- has been already set can i ever log into the other system or bypass the xhost some how !!!!


plz its urgent

this is not urgent for us, so please do not mark it as such.

what do you even mean by having "set" xhost? what is the actual problem you are having? explain to us in a suitable level of technical detail and we can help.

If you have set xhost to - then you can not establish an X windows connection.
you would need to go to the console of the machine you want to "Sneak" into and set xhost + at the cli.
I always work as "SU" but I think you need to do/set "sudo xhost +/-"
