ok so i've just manged to get linux dsl up and running(installed to my hdd) and theres still 2 more things i need done. first thing is that i need to somehow "mount
" my cd-rom drive. whenever i try it simply says a message"too many devices mounted already" or something like that. is this because it is set too slave or something else.

Need more info

In order to diagnose the mounting problem, we'll need to know what's mounted already. Run mount on the command line and copy+paste the output as a response to this thread. Then we may be able to better help you.

As for the web editor... I personally just use a text editor. Mozilla/Firefox has a built-in editor (I believe), and there are many that are freely available through a Google Search.

Look in the "Members Choice Awards section" for a web editor. (Don't know why I can't see this section in the Forum list anymore... Hrm...)

Please leave the "Urgent" "Important" "Emergency" type words out of your post titles. Quite frankly it's not urgent to anyone but you, Everyone here is a volunteer, and many will skip over your post and not even look at it because of that title.

don't forget to skim through the Forum Rules when you have a chance. Observing the rules will get you a friendlier more productive response from those that can help you most..
