upgrade to libnet 1.1 in RedHat 7.2

Hi,

I downloaded the latest version of libnet 1.1, extract it into a dir in /root,
type "./configure", then "make", then "make install",
installation run without error.

Then, install a newer version of packit-0.7.1-1.i386.rpm,
the error says:
error: failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by packit-0.7.1-1
libnet >= 1.1 is needed by packit-0.7.1-1

It seems that the newer version of libnet is not installed properly into the correct directory,
may i know which is the correct dir should i 'make' the libnet? Or otherwise, how to debug
the installation problem?

Thank you very much!
