update or install not happening!!
well i am having this strange problem whenever i try to update my fedora 8 from console using yum it first checks the repositories of fedora, then of livna and then of adobe but after that it tries to check the primary.sqlite.bz2 then the console shows this output!

it worked on itself
no i was just going to try wat uve said, but after opening console i thought to give it another try without the cleaning and voila! it worked without a hitch!!
By the by please tell me what would have that command done?
and ofcourse how safe it is (foe any same problem in future)
